Mentor Insight:
The SA section has zero negative marking — attempt every single question, even if uncertain. In QA MCQ, questions tend to be lengthy; time discipline is critical. VA occasionally throws surprise question types; 15+ mock tests under exam conditions is the best preparation.

Mentor Insight:
The additional LR section is what separates Rohtak from Indore. Students who practise at least 200 LR questions across all types gain a significant edge. Don’t underestimate Coding-Decoding — it’s high-frequency and fast to solve once mastered.

Mentor Insight:
Class X and XII marks carry significant weight in the final merit list. Students with strong academics often convert with moderate JIPMAT scores. Focus on accuracy over speed — NTA’s –1 marking penalises guessing. DI is high-scoring for well-prepared candidates.

NPAT’s “no negative marking” policy is a game-changer — always attempt all 120 questions. With 3 attempts, you can use the first attempt as a calibration run. Aim to finish each section in 30 minutes; you need under 50 seconds per question. Speed + accuracy together win this exam.

Mentor Insight:
IIM K BMSAT’s –1 marking is more severe (relative to +3) than IPMAT’s (+4/–1). Accuracy strategy is paramount. The VA section in BMSAT is harder than IPMAT — strong RC skills are non-negotiable. Class XII marks carry real weight in AIS, so board exam performance matters alongside test prep.
